Shahid Naseer

Mr. Shahid Naseer hails from a highly esteemed and educated family in Allahabad. His maternal grandfather, a Professor of Arabic & Persian at Allahabad University, was a renowned scholar of these languages and a well-known Maulana in the city. Both of Mr. Shahid Naseer's parents were Professors at Allahabad University. His mother, late Dr. (Mrs.) Firdaus Fatimah Naseer earned post-graduation in English and Urdu from Allahabad University, followed by D.Litt and D.Phil, making her the first Indian lady to achieve a double doctorate. A dedicated social worker, she tirelessly uplifted the poor and downtrodden and served on the Executive Council of Allahabad University, directly appointed by the Governor.

Mr. Shahid Naseer's father, late Dr. Mohammad Naseer Khan was also a distinguished scholar and Professor in the Geography Department at Allahabad University. He authored numerous books in his field, and his portrait still adorns the Geography Department for his outstanding contributions.
